About the event

On July 20, 2026, Central Florida HIDTA and the International Narcotics Interdiction Association will host Vehicle Compartment and Traps Seminar, an 8-hour training focused on systematic passenger-vehicle searches and hidden-compartment detection. This course equips law enforcement personnel with practical techniques for identifying natural voids and aftermarket compartments commonly used to conceal contraband.

Participants will learn how to conduct thorough searches using instructional videos and photos, apply legal and safety best practices during vehicle searches, and use specialized tools and technology to detect concealed spaces. The training also covers documentation, evidence handling, and current concealment trends so officers can improve interdiction outcomes in the field.

The seminar is led by Lieutenant Jeff Fuller, whose background includes more than two decades of interstate criminal interdiction work, extensive passenger and commercial vehicle interdiction training, and instructor experience with Tennessee’s Interdiction Plus program and national interdiction conferences.
